Information used by the store
When you create an account, place an order or contact SCOTÉ Collections, we process the information you provide: your name, email, phone number, delivery address, account details, order items, sizes, colours, payment status and customer-service messages. Technical information may also be processed to operate and secure the service.
We use this information to maintain accounts, fulfil orders, arrange delivery, verify payments, manage returns and complaints, protect the store and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. We do not ask you to send passwords or one-time codes to customer support.
Service providers and WhatsApp
The store uses Google Firebase for hosting, authentication, data and media storage, and Paystack for online payment processing. Delivery and support providers receive information needed to perform their services. These providers may process information outside Nigeria.
If you choose WhatsApp order confirmation at checkout, your phone number, name and ordered product names are used to send that confirmation through WhatsApp. You can also choose to contact us using the WhatsApp links on the site. WhatsApp and the payment provider apply their own privacy terms. Order-confirmation permission is not marketing permission.
Retention and security
Order, account and support information is retained for order administration, customer service and applicable legal or accounting requirements. Contact us for information about retention of your records. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
Contact SCOTÉ to request access to or correction of your information, ask about deletion or retention, or withdraw permission for optional messages. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions; we may need to verify your identity. You may also raise a concern with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
The store is intended for people able to make purchases under applicable law. A parent or guardian may contact us about information a child has provided. We may update this policy when the service changes.
